Contending for Mission

On May 16, the PCG engaged in a national campaign called Good Neighbor Day America. As part of an ongoing celebration for the 250th anniversary of America, thousands of churches and non-profits around the nation mobilized on the same day to represent the hands and feet of Jesus. Many PCG churches participated, sharing the love of Jesus in their communities by engaging in service projects, distributing goods, and preaching the Gospel. Allow us to share one incredible testimony among many...

Bethel Family Worship Center (BFWC) in Indianapolis, IN was blessed to serve over 900 people on their campus in just one day. Highlights included:

  • Distributing $500 in gas gift cards at local gas stations
  • Giving out over 200 food boxes and approximately 30,000 lbs of hygiene products, home goods, and toys
  • Serving 230 iced coffees, 800 hot meals from our food truck, and 40 free haircuts
  • Completing 44 medical and mental health screenings
  • Delivering gifts to 75 residents and staff at a local nursing home
  • Honoring our local police officers and firefighters with thank-you cards and donuts

We as a Movement remain committed to impacting eternity by the power of the Spirit, and we are grateful for the many churches like BFWC who are modeling what the love of Jesus looks like. Together we will experience a Decade of Harvest!
