Mission & Vision
Excerpted from the Assembly Report of Rev. Virgil Kincaid, Director
In my life, and certainly in these past fourteen years, I have been privileged to work with some of the most amazing people on this earth. The missionaries, field representatives, Global Missions Directors and staff, national leaders and pastors, general leaders, district leaders, pastors, and congregants of all ages across the Pentecostal Church of God have been kind and gracious to me. From the depths of my heart, thank you!
When we began this decade, PCG had a ministry presence in sixty-six nations worldwide. As of this writing, we now have a ministry presence in seventy-seven world nations. The most recent additions are Lesotho, a sovereign enclave within the borders of South Africa, and Saudi Arabia. Kuwait has also been added to the PCG family within the past year. Rajeesh and Sabreena Makasare in Kuwait City are outgrowing their current facility and are looking for a larger one. In Saudi Arabia, Chaplain Sunday Babalola is now stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh. Our efforts in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have resulted from collaboration with the PCG Chaplains Commission, PCG Endorser David Reynolds, and Chaplain Doug Swift. We look forward to continuing this collaboration through the decade and beyond.
We continue partnering with Global Education for worldwide effectiveness by training future missionaries through Missionary Development Path and Missionary Development Internship. At General Assembly, our 2025 MDI participants will be with us, having just returned from ministry on the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain.
God’s heart has never changed. 2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” From our beginning, the Pentecostal Church of God has modeled the heart of God. We have modeled it across the United States and around the world. As we journey together through this Decade of Harvest, let us not lose that heart.

We are honored to provide resources for the global church, and we look forward to expanding our field of service. Allow me to share an update concerning some of our resources and projects:
This is an online program and on-field practicum that aims to equip the next generation of PCG missionaries. The first year (2021) held five students. The second year (2022) held seven students. The third year (2024) held five students. This program runs through the Global Missions Department and is offered as an accredited course through Messenger College every other year.
As the second step of development for future PCG Missionaries, this internship is a seven-week on field experience that focuses on cultural intelligence and practical ministerial training. MDI is also offered through Messenger College as an accredited internship. Alongside PCG Missionaries Kent and Jody Brown, students walk the Camino de Santiago, evangelizing pilgrims from around the world and practicing ministerial discernment and endurance. This program was launched in May 2025.
Launched in December 2022, this program is a direct response to the PCG’s mission to reach 100 nations by 2030. R&D focuses on researching new fields of ministry by developing new relationships with international organizations and intercultural church leaders.
This program consists of specialized advanced pastoral training cultivated for international fields of ministry. Although the Veritas curriculum has been used for at least 8 years in various ministerial fields, an updated seminar structure was launched in 2023 in Arua, Uganda. The next seminar is currently scheduled for late 2025 in Vietnam.

Compassion/Intercultural Ministries (CIM) is dedicated to encouraging pastors, churches, and districts to put CIM into action by serving and caring for their communities with Christ like love and compassion. Over the last couple of years we have been actively engaging in conversations and ministry projects to demonstrate intentional compassion and outreach to the world around us.
• CIM hosted students from Messenger College during spring break for a powerful week of urban outreach in San Bernardino, CA, partnering with The Way World Outreach. Together we ministered to the homeless, addicts, and underserved through discipleship training and street evangelism. God moved powerfully. Lives were saved, healed, and restored.
• In 2024, we hosted a back-to-school bash, which was a joyful community outreach event that provided backpacks and school supplies, haircuts and snacks, and support from local volunteers and faith leaders.
• In partnership with House of Hope & Refuge and Pastors Juan & Carla Romero, we participated in an after-school outreach in Greeley, Colorado. There we distributed backpacks, supplies, and shoes, and we held a youth service with heartfelt testimonies.
• Thanks to generous donations during the holiday season, CIM provided full holiday meals, hundreds of turkeys, and spiritual encouragement and prayer. We were even able to partner with local churches to host a Christmas toy store, where families were able to enjoy a dignified, joyful shopping experience. There, gifts were supplied for over 3,000 children in a warm atmosphere with cocoa, prayer, and photo ops. Hope and joy were shared with every toy!
Moving forward in 2025, we are excited to be partnering with Impact Student Ministries to offer community impact opportunities at General Assembly and to deepen connections through Impact Appalachia. Of course, we also hope to expand our PCG church partnerships and equipping them with tools, training, and guidance for impactful intercultural ministry.

Over the past two years, we have responded in numerous ways to urgent crises, both within the United States and internationally. We have witnessed wildfires from coast to coast, floods resulting from hurricanes that moved through mountainous regions, catastrophic floods worldwide, intense hurricane seasons, significant tornado outbreaks, and earthquakes in various locations. When it comes to the destructive forces of nature, it is not a matter of if, but when. Therefore, our church must maintain a proactive stance in our preparedness, especially considering the times we are living in. Disasters will only increase as we approach the Lord’s return.
By God’s grace, Global Disaster Relief has been able to provide disaster relief workers, essential supplies, and financial assistance to many severely affected areas. We have participated in two construction projects in Jamaica, partnering with our Caribbean Field representative, Lisa Miller. Currently, we are collaborating with our Native American Ministries pastor, Dennis Queen, in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, to help with the cost of restoring a home for an elderly woman in Clyde, North Carolina. Many PCG churches have also directly contributed relief aid to these areas. Last November, I traveled to three of the states that were heavily impacted to assess the damage and establish a plan for rebuilding efforts. During these visits, we delivered winter coats for children and provided other financial resources.
Furthermore, last September, I joined our global directors on a trip to Brazil to initiate the establishment of a disaster relief ministry there. The Brazilian delegation was incredibly kind and welcoming. They have a fervent desire to win the world for Christ and a deep compassion for those who are hurting.
Over the last two years, we have worked on many other projects in addition to those listed here, and I am proud to say that we strive to be involved in every need we identify or that we are made aware of. Together, we can truly make a difference!

When I look to the fields of Alaska, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, and all parts in between, I am reminded, “I must be about my Father’s business.” Over the last two years, my activities have been:
• Preached at Crow Camp Meeting and also had the privilege of speaking to men at an Adult Teen Challenge in Billings, MT.
• Traveled to Arroyo Seco, NM, to do an exit interview with a pastor who resigned.
• Visited Cass Lake, MN, to assess the property that has been vacant for over 5 years.
• Preached at a camp meeting on the Gila River Reservation in Arizona.
• A new church was added in Casa Blanca, Arizona.
• Visited the Tohono O’dham Reservation and preached for our mission site there.
• Chaired the Rocky Mountain District Convention.
• Traveled to Clinton, OK, to secure the church accounts, parsonage, and church where the pastor passed away suddenly. Since then, a new pastor has been placed.
• Revitalization Projects: Lawton, OK. Mescalero NM. Haystack Mountain, NM. Iyanbito Village, NM, Parker, Arizona. Delta Junction, Alaska. Blue Water, New Mexico.
• Thanks to the generosity of the Pentecostal Church of God family, we distributed Christmas gifts to children on the reservation and Christmas money to our pastors.
• Five new ministers have been licensed.
• Attended the celebration of life services for Missionary Charlene Melton and Bishop Jan Lake.
• A special shout out to our pastor in Maggie Valley. NC. After devastating flooding, Pastor Dennis Queen and his church became a distribution center for those in need.
Pray with us for our missionaries that God would send a fresh wind that refreshes the weary, and brings revival to every tribe, tongue, and nation.
