Mission & Vision

"We are in the middle of this DECADE OF HARVEST, and its goals are not just numbers. The goals are souls. They are next door, down the street, across town, and around the world. God is sending us. Will you go?" -Virgil Kincaid

In This Issue

As we step into 2026, we do so both reflective and resolved. We have a great heritage and legacy behind us, but we also know that there is a great work that still lies before us. In these first years of a PCG 2.0, we stand in a providential moment with an opportunity to Impact Eternity. This year, we celebrate the 100th volume of the Pentecostal Messenger.

For a century, this magazine has told the story of a Movement united around one unchanging purpose—reaching the world for Christ. So our emphasis for 2026 is clear: One Mission. One Movement. One Chance. We believe that every person possesses the God-given birthright to hear the Gospel at least once, and it is now our responsibility as Christ-followers to do our part and position ourselves to experience a Decade of Harvest.

In this spring issue, we begin by anchoring ourselves in that first declaration—One Mission. Each section intentionally aligns with our missional goals, as we celebrate ministry and progress toward 100 Nations, 1,000 Next-Gen Leaders, 10,000 Ministers and Churches, and 1,000,000 Christ-followers. For example, in these pages, you will find vision from Global Missions Director Karl Hargestam, testimonial stories from young leaders, opportunites to receive crisis counseling or pastoral care, and from Bishop Virgil Kincaid, a call to press onward “until the whole world hears.”

The mission has not changed. The opportunity is now. May we run together and steward this divine moment well.

We are One Mission. We are One Movement. We are PCG.
