Military Chaplains

PCG chaplains are stationed all over the world in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Civil Air Patrol, and National Guard. Others serve in hospitals, prisons, and in the police force. As a group, the PCG military chaplains are the youngest, wealthiest, most schooled, most international, and most traveled clergy in the PentecostalChurch of God.

Mission & Values

  • Since 2001, the PCG Military Chaplaincy has grown from 6 chaplains to 62, making it the largest chaplaincy of any denomination on a per capita basis.
  • Among PCG chaplains, there are 93 Masters degrees, 17 Doctoral degrees, and dozens of Hospital CPE Certifications. This professional training has been a hallmark of the PCG chaplaincy.
  • PCG Chaplains hail from two dozen U.S. States, Puerto Rico, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and thePhilippines.
  • Almost 1/3 of all PCG chaplains are women, many of which serve as commissioned officers and executives in the Defense Department.
