Welcome to Living on Mission

What is the Mission? The Mission is the task of the entire body of Christ and is outlined in the Great Commission.

This is a passage of scriptures found in Matthew 28:18-20. It says, “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”"

As Christ followers, we are instructed to go and make disciples. John 3:16, a popular verse, states that God so loved the “world”. Because of this love, He desires for the world to know Him. But how can they know if they have not heard? This is our God-given mission, to spread the Gospel wherever we go. This is not a specific calling for those appointed, but a mark of those that are Christ followers.

Are you ready to live out His Mission? In the coming months we will be looking at the details of our mission outlined throughout the Bible, and how the Body of Christ takes up that task as their own.

We are so excited to share this newsletter as a monthly resource that will empower you to live out the Mission that God has called you to. It is also here that we will keep you up to date on how the Mission is being carried out right now through our PCG Missionaries.
